Welcome!
The Experience
Communication might just be the most important thing we do as humans. At home, work, play and as we go about our daily lives, our ability to communicate with others determines outcomes large and small. Communication is so vital, there are literally thousands of books on the topic! How to navigate this morass and which guide will take us to the promised land? None and all of them. There is no “right” way to communicate, it is for each of us to do so in a manner that suits us.
Reflect on how you communicate for a moment. Is it the same as it was 5 or 10 years ago? Perhaps you changed something about how you communicate with your partner last week! You've already been editing and updating your communication all your life!
The JOurney of Communication Experience operates from this fundamental premise: we are already the stewards of our communication and will continue to be after we leave the experience. No course, book or experience will replace it. Instead, we formalize the journey you’ve already been taking and extend it.
The first step is to understand your current communication model and how it evolved over time. Module I, Monologue brings it to life. Over 6 weeks it takes shape so you can see it clearly, perhaps for the very first time. The structure is much like an Oxford tutorial: meet once a week with your guide for approximately an hour. After the session, there is a homework assignment. At the next session the homework is discussed and steps are taken. Rinse and repeat.
Once we’ve codified your model, it’s time to explore others. Modules II.A-C do precisely this, one model at a time. Using the same tutorial format, each new model is explored over 7 sessions. The II Modules are called: Dialogue (II.A), Trialogue (II.B) and Catalogue (II.C). While we preselect the models in Dialogue and Trialogue, you select the third from the catalogue; yes, literally any model you’d like to explore! And given time, space and resources, we can continue to explore other models from the catalogue after completing II.C.
It’s your communication journey, you customize it and build your own experience as you go along. If you want to go all the way, sign up for all 29 sessions. If not, break it up into smaller chunks. The basic experience includes Module I (Monologue), Module II.A (Dialogue) and Module III (Epilogue) - 14 sessions in all. From there, if you’d like to explore a second model, add Module II.B (Trialogue). If you’d like to go even further, II.C (Catalogue); and so on.
