QUOTES

Bijoy came out to 3M to present the topic, "The 5 D's of Personal and Professional Fulfillment." In this seminar he taught our employees about how they could achieve more and become balanced, which is what 3M Wellness' mission is all about. Our employees walked out of the seminar with knowledge that they say they will apply both at work and at home. Bijoy was very engaging and kept our employees intrigued! Thanks Bijoy for coming out to speak on such a dynamic topic.

On behalf of the Austin Chapter, Project Management Institute (PMI), I would like to thank you for the workshop you led at our July 2005 chapter meeting.

The workshop you provided on the topic of "The Alchemy of Teams" describing the MRE framework was very well received.

Comments from the people who participated in your workshop included "very energetic", "entertaining", "thought provoking", "excellent - learned a lot" and "extremely informative." In fact you exceeded expectations. One attendee wrote "much better than I expected! Thanks for such a great workshop."

Your workshop provided useful information that people can apply at work and in their personal life. The delivery of that information, with group activities to emphasize the points, will undoubtedly make a lasting impression.

Thanks again! We definitely welcome the opportunity to have you both share more of your knowledge and insights in the future. Very best regards.

Speaking to a group of coaches who focus on the strengths of individuals is not an easy task and yet Bijoy Goswami not only intrigued these masters of human behavior, he challenged them to think differently about themselves, their networks, and their clients. Bijoy's approach to our true human nature is rational, logical, and a bit magical. What a great presentation!

Bijoy was an invited speaker at our May 2005 Rice Alliance tutorial program on how to create a start-up company. Bijoy spoke to the practical aspects of bootstrapping a company, describing not only "why" you should bootstrap, but also "how" you bootstrap a company. Bijoy was an engaging and energetic presenter that had full command of the audience during his time on the podium.

The Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship - Austin Chapter co-sponsored an event on bootstrapping a business with Bootstrap Austin. The attendance at that event was the highest we have had since we began the Austin Chapter. Bijoy moderated a panel of CEOs who have successfully bootstrapped companies. The interest and enthusiasm at the event was enormous. Bootstrap Austin and Bijoy were great partners and helped us have a terrific event.

Bijoy's talk on "The Alchemy of Teams," presented to the IEEE Central Texas Chapter of the Engineering Management Society, reminded us all that it takes a diverse group of people to accomplish our goals. Bijoy's passion for his subject kept us energized throughout his talk, and our members left with new insights and ideas which they could put to immediate practical use.

Bijoy, thanks for a great job on your presentation titled "The Human Fabric". While it is difficult for most speakers to hold the attention of an audience of hard-working business folks during an evening meeting, your presentation at the Acorn Alliance was a delightful exception. You engaged the audience from start to finish. The meeting room was still full of people "relating" an hour after the venue had officially closed - not the norm! The meeting feedback Mike and I received indicated that the group appreciated how adeptly you wove together stories, business examples, and exercises to create a platform of conversation and insight. Thank you.

"Bijoy’s insights are remarkably informative and enlightening while being very easy to grasp. I learned how to better understand my strengths and weaknesses as well as how to better ensure a winning team through complementary talents. These lessons apply not only to my business relationships, but to all relationships as well! I look forward to the next time I can learn from this expert." - Walt Esquivel, Commerce360

"It's always good to hear a bright and intelligent speaker, no matter what the topic, and as Bijoy explored "How the Golden Rule Can Hurt You" I found myself deeply engaged. I came away from his presentation with new insights, and knowledge that I was able to put into practice straight away." - Fiona Pattinson, phi solutions.

"Bijoy's presentation on MCE's began with a really very engaging lesson on human being types through the ages. It then evolved into an audience-led discussion on applying the principles Bijoy had just shared to current life situations and experiences. It was quite amazing. By the end of the presentation (from an audience who didn't previously know each other), we had Mavens in the back quoting statistics, Evangelists on the front row selling their last persuasion technique, and a few Connectors sprinkled throughout exchanging business cards.” - Jim Duster, COO ITMasters

"Bijoy's talk, How The Golden Rule Can Hurt You, brings home the point that we somehow knew all along to be true: each person is unique, and each makes unique contributions toward the success of the organization. Managers that understand each person's uniqueness – through the person's skills, capabilities, and desires – will succeed in creating winning teams." - Steven Teleki, VP Software Engineering, SiberLink; Chairman, IEEE CS Austin

"Bijoy's presentation made for an enjoyable evening. His company's software addresses the human side of the corporate world. His in depth study and research of the field was clearly evident. He showed that engineers can have a cultural and philosophical side worthy of our time and age." - Jim Brakefield

“Thank you so much for your enlightening presentation. You provided an intriguing insight into organizational dynamics. Additionally, you are a delightful communicator. I believe I can speak for your audience that we were most pleased at having participated.” - Bob McGoldrick

“Bijoy's passion for people-centered KM is contagious. He delivers a thought-provoking, highly energized and fun presentation that cuts straight to the heart of what KM is all about.” -Pam Holloway

"Bijoy's presentation is very eye-opening. As a sales representative, the ideas presented gave me a great tool for identifying my customers' styles in decision-making, implementing, and using our software. Thanks.” - Pam Goldston, MLC CAD Systems

“I enjoyed Bijoy’s talk and particularly found the stylized spin on The Tipping Point main trio - mavens/connectors/evangelists - interesting. It helped me identify my type better!” - Vasso Tsatsami, BP

“A very interesting and unique approach to leveraging the internal skills and knowledge within a company. Bijoy's message makes a lot of sense to anyone who has struggled with this problem area.” - KM Practitioner, IBM

"Bijoy was a speaker in our Thought Leader Speaker Series and we could not have had a better speaker. His talk on 'Selling the Wheel' emphasized that you need an 'evangelist'/salesman as much as you need a 'maven'/engineer. His talk was extremely thought provoking and brought up questions and ideas that most engineering students do not think about." - Richard Heller, UT Technology Entrepreneurship Society

"Bijoy's lecture on Selling the Wheel was provoking in both content and delivery. As an engineering student, it reminded me of my relevance." - Morgan Bruns, Chair of the Roden Leadership Program
